Empowering Young Leaders: Building the Future We Want
At Yoruba Youth Agenda (YYA), we believe that the future of our communities depends on the quality of young leaders we develop today.
Leadership is more than holding a position or having a title. It is about responsibility, service, integrity, knowledge and the willingness to contribute positively to society. Young people must therefore be given opportunities to learn, participate, lead and make meaningful contributions to their communities.
Through youth development programmes, leadership initiatives, community engagement and mentorship, YYA seeks to encourage young people to develop the skills and values required for responsible leadership.
We believe that young people should not simply be viewed as leaders of tomorrow. They are already important participants in the communities they belong to, and their ideas, energy and talents can contribute to positive development today.
Our commitment is to help create an environment where young people can discover their potential, develop confidence and take responsibility for the future of their communities.
By investing in responsible and capable young people, we are investing in stronger communities and a better future.
